On that date
I was glued to updates on my TV as they came in (who wasn’t?) and the subsequent reportage. Until …
AT ONE STAGE
I thought to myself “Who the hell are they trying to kid?” followed by snorts. I turned the TV off. More credible things to do … paint to watch drying, grass to watch growing; anything rational that made sense in a world apparently intended for dupes.
AND ON THE ANNIVERSARY
everyone is once again adding their bit, such as this snippet from a Lew Rockwell commentary—
“It bears repeating that fires have never caused the total collapse of a steel-framed high-rise before or since 9/11. Did we witness an unprecedented event three separate times on September 11, 2001? The NIST [U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology] reports, which attempted to support that unlikely conclusion, fail to persuade a growing number of architects, engineers, and scientists. Instead, the evidence points overwhelmingly to the conclusion that all three buildings were destroyed by controlled demolition. Given the far-reaching implications, it is morally imperative that this hypothesis be the subject of a truly scientific and impartial investigation by responsible authorities.”

I like ol’ Lew. He’s not afraid to come out with his thoughts and good on him. For myself, if this 9/11 thing was an inside job then it’s already distant history. The perpetrators will get away with it, and the longer they do so the greater the guarantee that they will continue to—for example, if it could now be proven beyond any doubt that JFK was not assassinated by Lee H. Oswald but fell to bullets from other persons—
So what, indeed … all ‘they’ have to do to win is outlast the folks who switched off in disgust when those buildings slithered neatly down “into their own footprints“.
WE CONSPIRACY THEORISTS
are used to copping giggles. Doesn’t worry moi in the least. And a final quote—
“… For example, if it’s crazy to question why media outlets reported on the collapse of WTC Building 7 before it even collapsed, then perhaps we should never question anything …”
