is the hand of Fate.
“… Saudi Arabia has reportedly started issuing special e-bracelets to the members of the annual Hajj pilgrimage which is to start on Friday. The measure was introduced to avoid the repetition of the deadly 2015 stampede at the religious event which killed over 2,400 people.
The ID bracelet … carries a bar code which can be scanned … carries the identity and nationality of each pilgrim as well as his place of lodging in Mecca…”

Fate is mindless: permitting of no decisions, no changes—in short, no possibilities (an automaton following its predestined groove).
SO THE HAJJ
in 2015 killed almost two and a half thousand blessed pilgrims. They were on God’s business and when He called them to Him … it was His divine will.
He is omniscient. He knows everything, and also being omnipresent (it means He’s everywhere) He knew even before Creation that those 2,400 blessed pilgrims were going to die on due date. They had no alternative.
I am told that we have Free Will. So yet again I toss this bone into the ring (no-one will dare pick it up):
If God knows beforehand*
what we are going to ‘freely’ choose,
how can we possibly choose otherwise?
THE SAUDIS OBVIOUSLY AGREE
with me. Their actions prove it—knowing that although Allah knows whom He will kill, they themselves do not … they still make their own job easier by fixing pilgrims up with ID tags. Clever~!
will have to await the end of the Hajj to find out how many Allah chose to collect this time, following the plan He set in place before Creation.
* God knows, which is all well and good (for Him) but His foreknowledge dooms the rest of us to (at best) the illusion of Free Will. Luckily for us the illusion is perfect.
